What is ChangeNOW?
ChangeNow gathers every year concrete and innovative global solutions to face the greatest global challenges. More than 30.000 visitors on 3 days, at Grand Palais Éphémère in Paris, at the foot of the Eiffel Tower.
Every year, the top gathers many hundreds of exposants on water, food, tech for good, sustainable mode, energy, recycling, and circular economy themes. A place to meet and connect entrepreneurs, investors and decision makers, to accelerate change, now!
Why is Greenoco still present on ChangeNow?
We are present on ChangeNow because it’s an event that gathers actors careful about the environment, but also careful about reducing digital carbon footprint.
This type of show allows us to present our solution to many people, companies, partners and potential investors. This helps to develop our network and promote the project.

Hugo :
What did you learn on this show?
I learned to speak about the platform to externals people and answer questions that seuls obvious when we work on it since almost 2 years. I also could learn more on the business world and its expectations.
What was the easiest, hardest thing for you?
Since I developed the whole solution from the beginning, it was pretty easy for me to talk and answer on how works the solution and what it does. On contrary, it was harder for me as soon as the subject was about the business part or when the person didn’t have enough knowledge in the IT field and that I needed to talk about the platform as simple as possible without using technical terms.
Did you live a first time?
It was the first time I met a minister in person and that cares about a project concerning me. I was surprised that a minister voluntarily chose to see us to look at our platform. It gave me some confidence in what we did and how we did it.
What is your feeling about the show?
Generally, I really like this kind of event. It’s allais interesting to talk about what we do to people that came, because they were interested by our project. It is a good exercise to understand what we are doing to the best of our ability and to convey it in the clearest and most effective way possible.

The world of entrepreneurship is not that difficult and that to exchange with people it is not closed and they are friendly and that you learn about many different projects. The living room allows to meet many people from different horizons.

The easiest thing is to smile. The most difficult thing was to talk to people without being afraid to say the wrong things and not having the answers to their question.

It is a show that allows me to increase the notoriety of Greenoco and to spread our presence on our social networks. I really like Change Now because we always discover new actions for the environment but it is also a place where we can exchange easily with entrepreneurs.
I can’t wait to be at VIVATECH and discover a new show and another environment.
Mathieu :
What did you learn on this show?
This 2023 edition helped validate the value of our approach and our software solution to reduce websites carbon footprint. Last year we only had one prototype, this year our platform is functional.
The feedback of many people from different trades and visions has been rich and numerous, which comforts us in the choices taken so far.
What was the easiest, hardest thing for you?
The easiest was to present our responsible digital approach, the plaform and its features, and to exchange with people curious about the approach.
The most difficult? I’m thinking of the pitch in English. An improvement axis identified 😉. We didn’t prepare this topic too much, but I now know that we have to improve it, even though we managed to make ourselves understood, when we are dealing with major accounts or investors, it is better to master the presentation in English.
Did you live a first time?
Minister’s first visit on the Greenoco project. Jean-Noël Barrot, Minister for Digital Transition and Telecoms, gave us the honour of visiting our booth and discussing the project.
An interesting meeting, and it is always rewarding for the team and the project.
What is your feeling about the show?
More booths this year on the show, more conferences too, and a slightly different audience from last year. Always great solutions proposed, interesting exchanges with companies, students or investors, on a subject that leaves few people indifferent.
I was also very happy to see the Greenoco team ready to go to the visitors, and proud to see that the project we have been working on for quarters is interesting!
Now it’s time for Vivatech! The team trained at ChangeNow, and is confident. Can’t wait to discover this atmosphere and this very large show.
